Cindy Steede-Williams
Office Administrator
Cindy started at the Women's Resource Centre in May 2008 to begin a new chapter in her life. Although, she has played many administrative roles in the past, particularly in Human Resources, she now feels the need to be engaged in something she truly loves and feels strongly about – the care and concern for the needs of women in our community.
As Office Administrator for the WRC, Cindy maintains the general organization and flow of the office and assists the Executive Director, Counsellors, Board of Directors and Committees wherever necessary. However, it takes a special skill to liaise effectively with all manner of clients and staff while creating a caring, loving, safe haven for all those connected to the Women's Resource Centre.
During her tenure at the WRC, Cindy hopes to gain a greater understanding of women’s issues by completing the Crisis Intervention Course and Hotline Course in preparation for a greater involvement in women’s issues in our global community.
Cindy has one daughter and enjoys reading, travelling, and conducting historical and genealogy research during her spare time.
