On Thursday, October 15, we’re inviting Bermuda to wear purple in recognition of Purple Thursday and in solidarity with those affected by domestic abuse.

This year, we're also asking our community to turn awareness into action.

Wear purple. Start a conversation. Share a resource. And, if you can, make a donation to support survivors.

Donations to WRC help provide therapeutic counselling, case management, advocacy, referrals and hardship support to women navigating domestic abuse and other difficult circumstances.

Individuals can donate directly, and we encourage businesses, workplaces and community groups to consider organising a collection or fundraiser as part of their Purple Thursday activities.
